Can I design, dimension and print/plot my parts in AlphaCAM?
Yes - AlphaCAM includes all normal CAD geometry creation (line, arc, circle, break, trim, copy, move, scale, etc.) so you can use conventional CAD methods if you want to, and it also includes APS Fast Geometry which will automatically find tangents, trim, fillet, etc. as you describe the part, eliminating the need for constructions, and making it much faster and easier to create designs. The CAD menu includes dimensioning, hatching, layers, line types, etc. - all the usual features - plus some very useful ones not found in many CAD systems: for example Magnify Area. This allows you to expand a complex detailed area to any scale you want, and when you apply dimensions to the details, the dimension text shows the correct size, even though the size is scaled up on screen to let you see the details.
