Can I input files from a CAD system?
Yes - AlphaCAM will input DXF, DWG (including AutoCAD LT 2000), IGES, STEP, VDA-FS, Anvil or CADL format files. We claim that our IGES input is the best available at any price. The IGES input will repair minor errors in an IGES file. If AlphaCAM can't read in your IGES file, there's something badly wrong with the file and it will give you a printout of the errors to let you see what the problems are.
