Cabinet Vision Software Helps Educational Furniture Manufacturer to Top Class Performance
The Alphacam Advanced 3D 3-Axis Router module is the ideal solution for the manufacturer who works with complex, free-form patterns and tools. The module offers complex 3D machining strategies along with the functionality of the lower specification modules.
New Operating Interface
The new operating interface, in a Windows compliant environment, is simple and intuitive. This makes the generation of NC code an easy task and helps to ensure the quality of the code.
The Alphacam Advanced 3D 3-Axis Router module is provided with a comprehensive level of functionality for the management of 3D problems, from the acquisition of mathematical values from external CAD modellers, to the routing of surfaces up to the completion of the mould base with classical 2D operations. The strategies offered for toolpath creation in a 3D range are varied and complete, allowing the user to identify and achieve with precision the best result in relation to each individual detail.
Technical Features
CAD 2D
Two-dimensional design with commands for lines, arcs, circles, rectangles, slots, ellipses, etc.; management of layers, styles and colours; dimensioning, sectioning etc.: insertion of Windows TrueType fonts.
CAD 3D
Management of work planes including non-orthogonal; modelling of swept surfaces, coons patch surfaces, ruled surfaces, sectional surfaces, surfaces of revolution etc; shading of surfaces; management of 2D and 3D splines.
CAM 2D
Vertical contouring and pocketing, using ramping, with section and with automatic restart; drilling, tapping, boring, (with or without automatic cycles), helical routing.
CAM 3DRoughing of surfaces with a stepped path; various strategies for surface finishing: along the isoparametrics, along an angle, at constant Z, radially, spirally, helically in Z etc; automatic rest machining; automatic identification of the angle of the surface and matching of the appropriate strategy; projection or wrapping of paths onto planes and surfaces; 3D engraving.
UTILITY
Technology archive; nesting; sheet development.
SOLID SIMULATION
