AlphaMACHINIST is a range of packaged programs based on our AlphaCAM products, designed to suit the needs of a multi function workshop. By packaging the programs to cover Turning, Milling and Wire (EDM) we are able to cover the range of services a modern workshop would offer.

AlphaMACHINIST provides a simple and easy to use suite of programs which satisfy the needs of most modern subcontracting machine shops. It is reliable, flexible and can help improve productivity in even the most efficient machining environment.

AlphaMACHINIST is available at the following levels:

AlphaMACHINIST Standard

Incorporates our standard Mill, Lathe and Wire products, into a single suite of programs, and provides excellent value for money with easy to use features.

AlphaMACHINIST Advanced

This more advanced range of AlphaCAM products includes Mill, Turning, and Wire (EDM) in advanced formats. It provides a highly functional package to companies who are looking to cover the range of engineering functions with an easy to use suite of programs. It offers considerable potential for programming numerically controlled machinery:

• 3 Axis plus 2 Machining Centres.
• CNC controlled Lathes with C/Y axis and driven tooling.
• Wire electro-erosion machines with 2 or 4 Axis.
• All possible with file imports in DXF, DWG, IGS, ANVIL, STEP, CADL, VDA, Solidworks, Parasolid, Iventor formats, and Catia 4 options.

AlphaMACHINIST Pro

The AlphaMACHINIST Pro package is the ideal CAD/CAM system for machining moulds. It offers considerable potential for programming horizontal or vertical machining centres, with 3 axis plus 2 positional axes. See below for module details.

AlphaMACHINIST 5 Axis Pro provides the ideal CAD/CAM solution for companies looking for a reliable, easy to use simultaneous 5 Axis solution. See below for module details.

The modules

Mill

The AlphaCAM Mill module is available at three levels:

• Advanced Milling is the ideal CAD/CAM system for machine shops and subcontractors. It offers considerable potential for programming horizontal or vertical machining centres, with 3 axis plus 2 positioning axes.
• AlphaCAM 3 Axis Milling module is the ideal CAD/CAM system for machining moulds. It offers considerable potential for programming horizontal or vertical machining centres, with 3 axis plus 2 positional axes.
• AlphaCAM 5 Axis Milling provides the ideal CAD/CAM solution for companies looking for a reliable, easy-to-use simultaneous 5 Axis solution.
